We build and re-point all stone and flint work. We re-build walls using knapped flint and also field flint to match the different types of old flint walls that we come across.
We can match the colour of the original pointing to these walls using natural earth pigments (for example, black pointing using vine black earth pigment to darken the colour as shown in image one below, versus image two which shows a natural lime mortar).
